For 40 years and hosted by the Miami Rowing Club, the Miami International Regatta has provided young and old alike a championship caliber event with the unique opportunity to race against teams from outside of Florida as well as outside of the United States. Some Olympians and National team rowers actually started their early college and high school rowing careers racing at the Miami International Regatta. Many of these rowers still come back every year to race in Master events. The regatta is now one of the oldest high school regattas in the United States.
